About Us

Our mission since 1987, has been the intellectual growth of students in the late teens to early twenties demographic group. Young adults in this age range have unique needs as learners. They must be given the respect due and desired as young adults. However, they need patience and understanding because there are life experiences that they have not yet encountered. For 18 years, David Sutherland has taught the law to these young adults. As an attorney, Mr. Sutherland has realized that young adults can understand complex legal concepts, and enjoy the pride that comes with understanding how relevant and crucial it is to know how the law impacts their lives. The key to developing that understanding is presenting the complex material in a way that is clear and easy to comprehend. ConductCoach and PlayerPrep were developed over hundreds of hours with the specific purpose to transform complex regulations into language and an organizational structure that would be easy for students to understand and assist them as student athletes in making sound decisions. In addition, ConductCoach and PlayerPrep include critical, basic legal information regarding contracts, misdemeanors, substance abuse, landlord-tenant and other areas that can be a distraction to your student athletes and your school's mission to educate young adults. ConductCoach-Recruiting was designed to assist your coaches and athletic department administrators involved in recruiting. The recruiting rules have been transformed into language that is simple to understand and reorganized into a new structure that allows your staff to find all the rules applicable to their sport or a specific issue area within recruiting.

Unlike typical instructional programs presented through slide presentations, ConductCoach and PlayerPrep are smartphone based applications. This enables and ensures that students, coaches, and staff members have compliance materials that are with them whenever and wherever they have their phones. No longer does the compliance education end when the lights come up and the presentation concludes. The compliance education continues at all times. You would like to have a personal coach guiding each of your athletes all of the time; with ConductCoach you can have the next best thing.
